Help & Advice
Funding
If you require any financial assistance towards your chosen mobility product then there are several avenues that might be able to help depending on your circumstances.
We recommend as your first port of call that you speak to your Occupational Therapist or Doctor and ask them if you qualify for any assistance. They should be able to assist you in locating funds or point you in the right direction.
Another avenue that can be explored is charitable organisations. There are many charities that can help individuals raise funding for Mobility equipment for example: Barnwood Trust, Alzheimers Society, Arthritis Care UK, Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution.
Live in Care
We work closely with a company called Rojene live in care who know first hand how difficult it can be when a loved one is no longer able to look after themselves. The modern pace of life means that siblings and close friends often cannot be at hand as much as they would like to be. In situations like these, you don't just want carers, you need people who care.
When you choose a carer, you don't just want someone who's qualified, you want someone who has common interest, offers friendship, and most importantly, someone who listens. Rojene are proud to be able to offer you such service and carers. For more information please go to www.rojene.co.uk

NHS Independent Voucher Scheme
This scheme is provided by the NHS for individuals who require a higher specification of Wheelchair than the one provided by the NHS. The NHS Wheelchair Assessment centre will issue the user with a voucher with the specification of the Wheelchair they require and allocate an amount of money to the voucher. This voucher can then be redeemed with Assured Mobility in exchange for the specific wheelchair prescribed by the NHS. This scheme is designed to give the user more choice over the standard NHS supply.
Motability Scheme
The motability scheme is a government run scheme whereby you simply turn part, or all, of your Disability Living Allowance into the scooter or powered wheelchair of your choice. If you would like to use this scheme then contact us on 01452 613009 and one of our advisors can go through the details with you.
